Government Auction

if you're paying Retail then your wasting money!!

You might have questions about government auctions and we have all the answers. Below are the most common questions that we receive from our users. If you don't see the answer to one of your questions below please don't hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to answer all your questions. Once you get full access and become a member you'll get lots of information that will help you be successful during your first auction.

Can anyone go to these government auctions?

YES. In fact the auctions are open to the public, but the hard thing is to finding them and get updated stats. Typically the auctions aren't promoted which can make attendance light. This plays in your favor as a bidder. The key is to find auctions locally that limited people attend so that you maximize your spend and chance of winning the item you wanting.

do these auctions offer special financing?

Each auction is different, but based on our experience most auctions have financing available. If you are the winner you can either pay for the item all at once at the auction, or you can set up financing. Usually financing is only needed if your buying high end cars, land or homes. When we find an auction that we want to attend or bid online, we ask them before the auction for all the financing information. This way we can take care of things prior to the close of the auction. Again, since you can buy things for pennies on the dollar financing isn't usually required.

can I find auctions in all 50 states and locally in my area?

YES. This is the great thing I can't stress enough about government auctions. Each state has these auctions and if you find yourself wanting more (like most) then you can simply start attending the online government auctions. This allows you to actually attend 100's of auctions if you want all in the privacy of your own home. Some people like to attend live auctions but I've found that some of the best deals are from smaller local online auctions.

what types of items can I expect to find?

If you can dream of it then odds are you'll probably find it at a government auction.  Because the items come from seized estates you can find things such as: car, trucks, land, antiques furniture, coins, gold, furs, homes, off road vehicles, guns, tools and 1000's of other items.

why doesn't everyone do this?

Great question and we get this asked a lot. The simple answer is that very few people actually know that the US Government actually has these auctions and that they must sell items that are seized by the FBI or local police to the highest bidder. The other reason is that many people aren't comfortable going to auctions and they feel intimidated.  The items that are seized and recovered are usually in great shape and sometimes brand new. The great thing is that you're not out any money by attending. If you get the auction list and don't see anything you're looking for you can simply go search another state auction with the database that is provided to you and find another auction (either live or online). I personally feel that over time more and more people will realize that you can save $1000's at these auctions so the secret won't last for ever.
